ABOUT Joe Crifasi

I design and enhance user experiences, develop effective user interfaces, and construct sleek and style-driven graphics.

Background:

Focused on the design and management side of User Interface and User Experience since 2014. I currently manage a small UI/UX team at a mortgage software company. In this position, I work very closely with Product Management and Architecture teams to create user stories, functional requirements, and UI/UX specification documents for use by the development teams. I have designed responsive web and application UIs for more than 10 years and across a diverse set of industries including Education, Finance, and eCommerce.

I primarily use Axure Pro for clickable prototypes and wire-framing. I have expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud, including, Photoshop, Illustrator, and XD. In addition, I have a solid understanding of front-end web development and UI design. I am proficient with HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap along with a working knowledge of JavaScript, JQuery, and an understanding of the underlying principles of object-oriented programming and MVC design. I have also worked extensively within Agile, and most recently SAFe, development frameworks and am an advocate of Lean UX
